Gr-69 This Australian green sapphire we cut from gem rough sourced from the central Queensland gem fields. What got my attention when studying the piece of rough I cut this stone from was the unusual inclusions that I could observe. They were a deep green in colour. pure sapphire is clear {we call it white but its as clear as glass.} Its certain types of impurities trapped at the time the crystal is growing and is responsible for what colour the gem will become. I'm Guessing that the inclusions seen in this stone is a concentrate of the impurity that got trapped in the crystal while it was forming. I have supplied photos of the evaluation certificate to provide extra information about the gem.
