Ammolite is a rare and beautiful gemstone made from fossilized ammonites, which were ancient marine cephalopods related to modern squid and octopuses. These fossils are found almost exclusively in Alberta, Canada, where over millions of years, their shells have been transformed into colorful, iridescent stones with stunning natural brilliance.
These rough ammolite pieces are 100% natural and untreated, sourced directly from the Bearpaw Formation, the only commercial deposit of gem-quality ammolite in the world.
