§ Gem Name : Kunzite
§ Luster :Excellent
§ Colour : Vivid Pink
§ Origin : Afghanistan
Kunzite is a pink-to-violet gemstone variety of the mineral spodumene, valued for its delicate pastel colors, high clarity, and strong pleochroism (showing different colors from different angles). Discovered in 1902 and named after gemologist George F. Kunz, it is a lithium aluminum silicate with a 6.5–7 Mohs hardness.
Key Characteristics and Facts:
Color & Appearance: Ranges from pale pink to intense violetish purple, often attributed to manganese. It is known to fade with prolonged exposure to heat or bright sunlight.
Properties: It has perfect cleavage in two directions, making it delicate to cut and set.
Origins: Primarily found in Afghanistan, Brazil, Madagascar, and the USA (California).
Value: Generally affordable compared to other gems of similar size, as large, clean crystals are not uncommon.
Usage: Popular in rings, pendants, and necklaces, frequently set in rose gold or white gold to enhance its color.
Care: Sensitive to heat and light; clean with mild soap and water, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners.
Kunzite is often associated with emotional healing, stress reduction, and bringing peace, sometimes referred to as a stone of "pure emotion" or "the woman's stone" in alternative, non-scientific, crystal healing practices.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
