Beautiful Pair of Red Andesine Labradorite Gems: #371
Andesine is a rare variety of Plagioclase Feldspar which is extremely rare in gem grade pieces with orange or red colors. This new material was initially said to be discovered in 2002 in the Democratic Republic of Congo and as of the initial discovery of these stones, no more Andesine has been offered for sale.
This pair of gems wants to become earrings very soon! Described as Cherry red weighing 3.62 cts total for both.
Measure is approx 9 X 7 mm. No Treatment here. Flawless and transparent. These are the best! This is a checkered cushion cut stone.
The colors vary with computer software. This color is vivid red in sunlight! GORGEOUS!!
