Gr 3 This natural emerald come from the Sandawana mine in Zimbabwe. Yes this stone is heavily included but then so is jade and chrysoprase so much so i have never seen these types of gemstones to be transparent. With emerald it is all about the color. Admittedly i was a little unsure to offer this gemstone but felt that there would be people who have emerald as their birthstone but cannot afford the massive price that generally goes with this incredibly rare stone. there are also people like ourselves who believe in the spiritual & healing properties of gemstones, by putting this on the no reserve auction it gives an opportunity for these people to obtain an emerald without the huge expense. With this stone being totally untreated without even an oiling which almost all emeralds get to hide inclusions its possible that this stone may be greatly improved with this process. Oiling is used a lot with emeralds but I don't know much about it and while it improves the stone it is not permanent and the stone could revert to its natural state. I prefer to sell them as is and let the buyer decide what to do that way you guys and girls know exactly what your buying. Best of luck with the auction and keep on having fun!
