Wow, what a stunner. This Emerald has very rich color, as you can see from the pictures. The report states that the color is "Vivid," and it is also remarkably clean. This stone comes with the pictured lab certificate. Apparently, The GIL likes to grade Emeralds on a scale from light to heavy clarity enhancement. As you can see from the report, this Emerald has only been minimally enhanced. For those who don't know about how Emeralds are treated, nearly 100% of the Emeralds on the market are oiled, which is a treatment dating back centuries that slightly improves the clarity of Emeralds. Because Emeralds get their green color from the element Chromium, they have a lot of natural fracturing, the same as Rubies. Miners learned long ago that if they submerged Emeralds into boiling oil, some of the oil would flow into the cracks and would improve the clarity. The more cracks an Emerald has, the more this treatment improves the clarity. So, to say that this Emerald has only been slightly clarity enhanced is just to say that it doesn't have very many cracks, which is obviously a very good thing.
I took pictures of this stone in high magnification against a white background to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this stone/stones have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.

The photos don't do this stone justice. The deep, bright reds are just stunning.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
