Just a great Tanzanite here. Definitely more Purple in real life than the pictures show. The appraisal values this stone at $11,653.65, which seems high to us, but the appraisal was performed by GIA Graduate Gemologists, who are considered the experts in the gem trade. In either case, the price we’re asking is much below wholesale for a Tanzanite like this. The appraisal doesn’t mention anything about treatments, but most Blue Tanzanites are gently heated to bring out their full color.
I took pictures of this stone in high magnification against a white background to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this stone/stones have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.
