A very beautiful Green Amethyst (Prasiolite) from Brazil has been master cut in the shape of a star at the back facet. Equally it could be set into a majestic ring or pendant - it really is a desirable stone with a rare cut to find. My photos are awful and will do them again (it is stormy here right now).
VVS clarity with a terrific lustre. I love the elegant tone - pale silver green - of this gem.
A wonderful cut and stylish stone. Jewellery grade.
