Gemval (an online appraisal guide for up to date market prices of gems) say that it is difficult to gauge the value of Amethyst over 64cts - they are rare to find, and especially with this jewellery grade clarity. The estimate was over $10,000 retail.
This stone is one of the most impressive I have ever held - its cut is amazingly wonderful - its color is far prettier and brighter than my photos show. It is a tremendous size for investment - superb.
