Fine GIA Certified Untreated Colour Change Garnet Gemstone.
1.56 Carat garnet with a rare colour change effect. Changing colour depending on the light its viewed in. Very rare for natural gemstones, especially garnets. A rare Pyrope-spessartine crossover.
Changes colour from a pink brown in white daylight to a purplish red in incandescent or artificial light. Very rare and stunning to see. Stated as colour change on GIA report. Excellent colour change.
Colour change is very hard to photograph, shown much better in the photos on GIA report
This garnet has excellent clarity, a very clean stone with only some small natural inclusions on closer inspection.
It also has an excellent oval cut and polish to show great shine and colour, would look lovely in a piece of high end jewellery.
A fine, top grade, certified untreated colour change garnet. Very rare gemstone.
Measures 7.3 x 6 x 4.4mm.
