Labradorite is a gemstone in the feldspar family. It is known for a brilliant play of color and exhibits lustrous metallic tints of blue, green, yellow, red, gold and purple depending on color of gem. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, labradorite is 6 – 6.5. Many have reported this gem origin from the Africa but the only place this gem is being mined is in Mongolia, The peach color andesine labradorite is also a enhanced version of the heated yellow gem many of the peach colored gems have color shift and are very beautiful.
