Treatment: *This sapphire has been subjected to a high temperature treatment, with possible colour diffusion from an external source.
Notes: Although this is a Ruby like colour, the method of high temperature (suggests Beryllium Diffusion) means it probably started out as a different, more Sapphire like, colour. Beryllium diffusion is a permanent treatment. This gem shows typical inclusions related to high temperature treatment, blue spots. These are internally diffused Rutile inclusions.
