Imperial topaz, also known as "precious topaz," is highly coveted as the most sought-after natural topaz. Its name originates from the Russian tsars of the 17th century, who claimed exclusive rights to the pink topaz gemstones mined in Russia. This gemstone, resembling the color of the setting sun, is less common than other types of topaz, making it exceptionally valuable. Traditionally considered orange with red dichroism, imperial topaz can now be found in a range of hues including yellow, pink, red, lavender-pink, and peach-pink.

Unfortunately this listing has been suspended for not complying with an audit request of 1 year ago. The listing guide states that Imperial Topaz must come with a certificate to state it can be called Imperial Topaz. Otherwise it should be called Precious Topaz
