Very beautiful and large certified 17.4 carat Ametrine. No treatment. The Oval cut is very good : the table is neither too big nor too small, the crown is imposing and very symmetrical. Thin girdle. The Pavilion is of a floral-type and centered culet. There are a lot of reflections when the light goes through this stone ! lots of shine and sparkle also, thanks to all the facets of the pavilion and the crown ' Quality cut here ! Both colors are medium saturation. The two colors are half and half here. Purple is more in the center of the stone and yellow around the crown ! There are almost like three distinct "areas" of yellow when you turn the stone. Nice Patern between those two colors here.
Clarity is eyes-clean face up. The stone is clean.
There is however an inclusion clearly visible to the eyes but only from the pavilion or from the bottom (see photo 9/10 (black point)). face up, this inclusion is NOT visible to the eyes. This unique inclusion can be considered as proof of authenticity for this ametrine, that it is a real one and not a piece of glase '
Top quality oval cut with a nice mix between purple and yellow areas, lots of shine and reflections and face up clean for the eyes !
