Labradorite is a gemstone in the feldspar family. It is known for a brilliant play of color and exhibits lustrous metallic tints of blue, green, yellow, red, gold and purple depending on color of gem.   On Mohs’ scale of hardness, labradorite is 6 – 6.5.   Many have reported this gem origin from the Africa but the only place this gem is being mined is in Mongolia, the peach color andesine labradorite is also a enhanced version of the heated yellow gem many of the peach-colored gems have color shift and are very beautiful.   The red and green colors are heated stones from the Natural Yellow color.  Now being compared to Paraiba tourmaline and rarer than Tanzanite!!  Great investments gem.
