Mined June 2025 – Eye of Odin Deposit, Blue Jay Sapphire Mine, Revelstoke, BC
This is a rare natural sapphire crystal cluster embedded in its original white feldspar matrix, accompanied by black mica (biotite). These specimens come directly from the Blue Jay Sapphire Mine, a private claim nestled in the mountains of Revelstoke, British Columbia a locality not currently represented anywhere else on GemRockAuctions.
This piece features:
Multiple visible sapphire crystals, exhibiting blue to blue-gray hues
Excellent hardness (Mohs 9) Feldspar matrix is 6 Mohs
Natural unheated, untreated material
Mica-rich contrast and natural aesthetic appeal
