VS Very slight inclusions; inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification - I1 Included; inclusions seen with naked eye.  These gems have a very pretty sparkle as most colored sapphire do.  Bright lights or sun intensify the sparkle. The gem grades vary from VS to I1, Most of the gems have a nice quality with little inclusion a couple darker gems have inclusion seen with magnification.

Neither of these pictures have light added behind the gems since some sapphires change in color with certain lighting. We wanted the real colors to appear in these smaller gems.  Please note the size, colors and cuts listed above in the description.  Many gems have light added behind and in front of the gem to aid in photography and show greater color.

 The most common treatment for sapphire is heat treatment. Stones are heated (generally before they are cut) to between 1700 to 1800 degrees Celsius (3100-3300 degrees F) for several hours. This is a continuation of how nature made the gemstones first: massive amounts of high heat. Most sapphires today are heated, and the stones of rich blue that are not heated can command huge prices in today's market, an example of how rare it is to find unheated sapphires today. Heating will change the color of the stone, for example turning a washed out, whitish sapphire into a sky blue.
