Star Ruby Its signature feature is a luminous six-pointed “star” (called asterism) that appears to float across the surface when the stone is held under a single light source — thanks to fine rutile needle-inclusions within the gem.
From my collection - I have been a master goldsmith, gem cutter and gemologist for almost 40 years. I have only collected the best.
