Description

Zircon is mined down tunnels that go down to a gravelly layer where the rounded zircon pebbles are found. A pump is needed to pump out ground that constantly seeps in. Many stones are heated to see if they can get the prized red and blue colors.
This one is well cut for flash and is a nice deep color from Cambodia where the best blues come from.
