16.4mm oval IRON Oxide Hematite in Quartz Faceted irregular gemstone 5.65ct 16.4 by 8.3 by 5mm Brazil
From a reasonably well known Brazilian find comes this lovely faceted example of Quartz with bright reddish-orange iron oxide staining. The contrast is quite impressive and we have never seen samples of this supreme quality before. The beautiful reflections off the inclusions are difficult to capture in photos and videos, but in the hand this gem is exquisite. with an outstanding aesthetic.
