We have searched the internet and can find nothing like this; Cut en cabochon with host rock and ideal for jewellery. Rare to find in this quality that can be easily set.
*It is a copper based stone that is found in the same areas as some other copper based stones. Its colors range from deep turquoise, or blue-green through to an emerald green, and it often grows near Malachite.
* Formula CuSiO3 · H2O with a trigonal crystal system.
* Hardness 5.
* Healing Properties: It helps let go of the past, through its strong vibration of compassion and forgiveness resonating within the higher spiritual heart chakra. This stone's vibration also stimulates the third eye chakra. Excellent mediation aid.
Natural and Untreated - beware of dyed and treated dioptase on the internet - it is rife especially coming from the Far East and India.
