39mm Colus Fossil Agate oval cabochon 53ct 39 by 32 by 5.5mm
The Colus animal existed about 250 million years ago and was an ancient shell-dwelling sea creature. The shell has been gradually replaced by Agate, thus giving us this perfectly preserved fossil- frozen in time.
*Totally natural and untreated...of course.
*Just look at the incredible colors in this stone. This is nature at it’s best. A work of art – but a totally natural work of art!
*These are museum grade pieces, in fact a couple of our specimen are in the Natural History Museum in London.
