Iolite is often known as water sapphire for the purity of its deep blue colour.  It is often mis-sold by unscrupulous traders as sapphire as well.  They really are stunning.  We took the photo with no flash and there has been no enhancement done to the photo.  Average size of bead is 3-3.25mmand 13 inch line length. They are simply wonderful!  Please see our other auctions.  Auction is for one line of these beads.
